The Oregon Files is a series of science fiction novels written a group of three writers. The first two novels of the series were written by Clive Cussler and Craig Dirgo whereas the next 7 novels of the series were written by the famous author named Jack Du Brul. Another author named Boyd Morrison has also joined the series as a contributor from the 10th book of the series onwards. The title of the series is derived from the name of the ship Oregon, which is a part of the mysterious Corporation lead by Juan Cabrillo. The name of the Oregon ship is taken from the training ship of a maritime college in New York, whose name was SS Oregon
