Alex Hiam currently writes and illustrates young adult (as well as middle school) novels, often involving magic, action, and adventure.He leads writing workshops for teens for North Star. He has also written extensively on leadership, creativity, marketing and other topics for the business and how to sections of the bookstore. He provides illustrations for nonfiction books and magazines, and has illustrated and written a half dozen children's picture books too.
