Kankana Basu is a Mumbai based novelist, illustrator, journalist and literary critic. Her debut book of short stories, Vinegar Sunday, was long listed for the 2005 Hutch Crossword Book Award and her novel, Cappuccino Dusk was long listed for the 2007 Man Asian Literary Prize and the Vodafone Crossword Book Award 2009.
