Malcolm Clark recently retired from Butler University, where for 30 years he served as professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. At Butler, he taught Islam: Religion, Culture, Society, among other religion courses. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude, and received his bachelor of divinity, master of divinity, and PhD in Religion from Yale University. Before coming to Butler, he taught for six years at Princeton Theological Seminary
