WILL SWIFT, Ph.D., has written for over twenty years on American leaders and British royalty of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. At the age of twelve, watching President John F. Kennedy’s inaugural address in January 1961 led to Dr. Swift’s lifelong interest in politics. He is the author of The Roosevelts and the Royals (Wiley, 2004). It tells the story of two ruling dynasties-the Roosevelts and the British Royal Family- and their interactions over a one hundred twenty-five year period.
